Beloved wife, mother, and memere (grandmother) Jeannine Fleurette Finch, 76, went to be with her heavenly family on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Jeannine was born in Providence, RI and has been a resident of Pensacola since 1982. Jeannine was a committed Navy wife accompanying her husband from station to station; often times holding the family together while her husband was on deployment. She was a devout Catholic and a great example of a true Christian. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church for over 30 years. She wouldn't hesitate to drop her plans to satisfy her fierce love for her family. Her love for ice hockey started at a young age and continued through her life including  being a season ticket holder for the Pensacola Ice Flyers for the past 4 years. She was the epitome of grace, patience, and unconditional love. Her commitment to her family and close friends was unparalleled. She touched the lives of all who knew her and her ever present smile was infectious. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, William Francis Finch, Sr.; daughter, Deborah West; mother, Exina Fontaine; and father, Theotime Fontaine.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeannine Holmes (Steve); her sons, William Francis Finch, Jr. (Jennifer), Byron Finch (Lisa) and Alex Finch; 12 grandchildren, Krysten Langguth (Holmes) and Corey Holmes; Joshua Mayor (Finch), Tyler, Megan and Taylor Gannon (Finch); Derek, Kari and Joey Finch; Jacquelynn Kimmons, Angelica and Christina West; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Fontaine and sister, Pauline Pelletier.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am (CST) Friday, June 4, 2021at Little Flower Catholic Church, with Fr. Matt Worthen, celebrant. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
