Obituary

Jeffrey Scot Hightower, born December 7, 1958, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012, in Milton, FL, following a battle with throat cancer. Survivors include his wife, Melinda of Milton, FL; daughter, Meghan (Nathaniel) Siebert of San Angelo, TX; sister, Julia Gregg of Evansville, IN; brother, William C. Hightower (Lacey) of Orange Beach, AL; and brother, James A. Hightower, Jr. (Patty) of Pensacola, FL. His surviving nephews are James-Scot Zachary Gregg of Brooklyn, NY, James Andrew Hightower (Lauren) and grand-niece, Mary Walker Hightower of Lexington, KY and William Patrick Hightower (Vicky) of Dahlonega, GA. He is also survived by stepson, Josh Franklin (Ally) of Foley, AL; stepdaughter, Autymn Watson of Pensacola, FL and her children: Hunter, Tre, Chandler and Nathen. His parents, James A. Hightower, Sr. and Francis Cook Hightower preceded him in death. Graveside Service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL with Rev. Gary Burton officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society or the Crimson Tide Foundation.
