Jerome Joseph Radtke, 90, of Lillian, AL passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
Jerome was born in Wauwatosa, WI in 1930 to Joseph and Susan Radtke.
Jerome worked as an auto mechanic before joining the U.S. Army during the Korean War. During this time he met the love of his life, Mary A. Furmanski, with whom he was married for 67 years and raised two children. Jerome and Mary settled in New Berlin, WI where Jerome was a truck driver for both Spector and Hyman Freight companies during his long career. After retirement Jerome and Mary found their way back down south where they resided in Lillian, AL for the last 30 years. He was passionate about his family, and being a good father. He loved to tinker around the house and in his shed, always staying busy. There was not a person he wouldn't strike up a conversation with.
Jerome is survived by his wife, Mary A. Radtke of Pensacola, FL; son, Robert Radtke (Jami) of Eagle, WI; daughter, Sandra Hooyman (Timothy) of Brunswick, OH and a granddaughter, Ashley Clark (Bowen) of Eagle, WI.
