Jerry Tracey Stewart, 84, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021.

Jerry was born on December 10, 1936, in Groves, TX to Majie Palmer Stewart Upton and J.T. Stewart, his stepfather was Verlin Upton.

He served 20 faithful and honorable years in the ASA US Army Intelligence from 1959-1980. Following that, he began a second career with Civil Service from 1980-2000 where he ultimately retired as the US Postal Service Clerk in Gulf Breeze and Navarre, FL.

Jerry was truly dedicated to his love of God, country, family, and many dear friends.

Jerry was a member of the Emerald Coast Garden Railway Club of Milton, FL and was one of the original Magnificent Seven, where he shared his enthusiasm of G-Scale Garden Railroading with many friends.

Survivors include his loving wife of almost 63 years, Carol Cooper Stewart; two daughters, Dana Bartholomew (Paul) of Tappahannock, VA and Karen Tracie Holden (Joe) of Navarre, FL; five grandchildren, Kyle Caissie of WV, Jamie Caissie of Orange County, CA, Nicklaus Williams-Heath of Gulf Breeze, FL, Elizabeth Bartholomew Sharpe of Tappahannock, VA, and Austin Heath of Augusta, GA; as well as eight great-grandchildren and three nephews.

A celebration of life service for private family and invited guests will be planned for January 20, 2022, which is Jerry and Carol's 63rd wedding anniversary.

Jerry will be truly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
