Jessica Mary Aspenson Jordan, 41 of Pensacola, FL passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020.
Jessica was born November 18, 1978 in Madison, WI to Doreen (Grimsrud) and Mark Aspenson. She was a graduate of Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, MI majoring in art. On October 15, 2005 she married Michael Jordan. They were blessed with 6 children. Jessica homeschooled her children and was devoted to their spiritual upbringing as well as helping her husband in their family business of producing small primitive furniture pieces. She enjoyed many types of craft work using her painting skills and drawing. Jessica loved spending time with her family going to parks and walking on trails. In the summer of 2017, Jessica and Michael relocated to Pensacola, FL.
Jessica is preceded in death by her father, Mark Aspenson and mother-in-law, Peggy Jordan. Jessica is survived by her husband, Michael Jordan; her children, Joseph Jordan, Hannah Jordan, Katherine Jordan, Eliama Jordan, Felicity Jordan and Samuel Jordan; her mother, Doreen Aspenson of Green Isle, MN; father-in-law, Fritz Jordan; her brother, Joshua Aspenson (Heidi) of La Crosse, WI; her sister, Kimberly McCann of Waukesha, WI; sister-in-laws, Megan Jordan, Molly (Jordan) Kubesh; brother-in-law, Cole Kubesh; grandmother-in-law, Toots Sebring.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, August 15, 2020 at McIlwain Memorial Presbyterian Church.
The Jordan family would like to express a special thank you to the Church Family at McIlwain Presbyterian Church and Trinitas Christian School who have provided meals for the family. Darlene Ewing, her nurse, who lovingly cared for Jessica during her last days, Karen Larson who took care of her nutritional meals and Kat Smith who also lovingly came to care for Jessica.
