Jessica Sharee Tedder, 47, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on February 25, 2026, at Vitas Hospice in Pensacola, FL, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on April 22, 1978, in Dothan, Alabama, the daughter of Danny Jerome Tedder and Diane (Jones) Braun.

Jessica graduated from Northview High School, Class of 1996. Following graduation, she attended Wallace Community College, earning her Associates Degree in Nursing. She furthered her education, earning her BSN, with honors from the University of South Alabama.

Jessca’s nursing career began in the ICU at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. She spent time in San Diego, CA and Denver, CO, working as a travel nurse. For the last five years, Jessica worked in post-partum care at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, taking care of mothers and their newborns. She received numerous DAISY Awards throughout her nursing career.

Often the life of the party, Jessica loved to dance, and make others laugh. Most of all she loved being Mom to her beloved daughters, Wesleigh and Emelia. They were her life, and she lived selflessly for them.

In addition to her father, Jessica was predeceased by Grandparents, Thomas Burl and Betty Sue Jones, and David Lamar and Mary Loyce Tedder; Uncle, Jerry Bruce Scarbrough; Aunts, Anne Martin, and Lisa Tedder; and cousin, Brandon Scarbrough.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her Mother, Diane Jones Braun, of Dothan, AL; Daughters, Wesleigh Diane and Emelia Scout Stocker and their Father, Matthew Stocker, of Pensacola, FL; Aunt, Darlene Jones Brantley, of Dothan, AL; Cousins, Jennifer Miller (Rob), of Montgomery, AL, Jones Enfinger (Michael), of Headland, AL, Julie Martin, of Panama City Beach, FL, Hannah Tedder and Austin Tedder, both from Dothan, AL; Special friends Lockett DeGraaf of Pensacola, FL and Rebecca Matherne of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; and, many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, with Chaplain Keith Sartin officiating.
