Jessie Sue Bosso, 80, of Pensacola, FL., passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the Veranda of Pensacola with her husband, Jim by her side.

Jessie was born on August 29, 1944 in Pensacola, FL. She was married to Jim Bosso for 36 years. She worked for AT&T for 38 years and retiring as a manager with the company. She enjoyed her career and retired while she and Jim were residing on Pensacola Beach, FL. They enjoyed many years boating and hosting Sunday family dinners. Jim and Jessie traveled to many destinations throughout the United States by RV, including out west. Some of Jessie's favorites were Santa Fe, NM, Jackson Hole, WY and the Grand Tetons. A very special location was spending many winters in Key West, FL. Other travels included and Alaskan Cruise, a train ride through the Canadian Rockies and trips to the United States Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands. Jessie took time from travel to take care of her grandchildren as well. She loved working in the yard later in life, making every home picture perfect. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning, constantly staying busy, loved her family and would help anyone that needed her.

Jessie volunteered at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel working on the grounds which showed her devotion to the church and love of gardening. She also volunteered at her granddaughter's school in Gulf Breeze, FL.

Christmas was a very special season for Jessie as she always over decorated and enjoyed making each home very festive.

Jessie and Jim were known for moving many times from Pensacola Beach, FL to Gulf Breeze, FL and finally landing back to Pensacola, FL. Her family and friends always referred to them as gypsies.

Jessie was truly one of a kind, an exceptional mother, grandmother and wife. We will miss her terribly and our lives are forever changed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Artis and Doris Stringfellow.

Jessie is survived by her husband, Jim Bosso; children, Kenny Nall and Bridgett Barnes; grandchildren, Kristian Nall and Max Barnes; great grandchild, Grey Nall; brother, Bucky Stringfellow; sisters, Marita Blake and Teresa Benning; stepdaughters, Debbie Hodge and Laura Bort; 3 step grandchildren and 2 step great children, all of Virginia.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the memorial service begins at 11:00 am on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Msgr. Luke Hunt, Celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Special thanks to the nurses at Baptist Hospital from the 9th floor, especially Eric who Jessie adored. Also, thanks to the nurses at the Veranda of Pensacola who have provided such great care of Jessie, as well as the hospice staff.
