Obituary

James "Jim" Rodgers Brady, 80, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2022, at the NC State Veterans Home in Kinston, North Carolina.

Born on October 21, 1941, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, Jim was the son of Captain Anthony Rodgers Brady, USN, and Cora Louise Blount Brady.

He was a graduate of Marion Military Institute and Florida State University in Interior Design.  Jim proudly served in the U.S. Army. He most recently worked as a biomedical tech at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

A devoted member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Kinston, Jim deeply loved the Lord and his family commends his spirit into God's hands.

Jim loved life, especially enjoying time spent with his beloved sister Toni, his cousins, and his nephews and nieces.

Fondly remembering Uncle Jim are his dear cousins, friends, family members, and nieces, Mary Frankfort Head (husband Drue) of Asheville NC and Susan Frankfort of Raleigh NC, and nephews, Ed Frankfort (wife Stacy) of Emerald Isle NC and Patrick Frankfort of New York City, NY.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Nicholas Schumm, Celebrant. A graveside service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
