James L. "Jim" Larduskey, III, of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday, June 30, 2025.
Jim was born on October 19, 1945, in Enid, OK to Ruth (Luck) & James L. Larduskey, Jr. He graduated from Parkville Senior High School in Parkville, MD. This is where he met the love of his life, Pamela New. After matriculating at the University of Maryland, Jim enlisted in the US Navy. Jim proudly and honorably served his country for over 23 years and ultimately retired as a Chief Petty Officer. Jim enjoyed astronomy and was an active member of the Escambia Amateur Astronomers Association.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife, Pam Larduskey; his brother, Bill Larduskey; a brother-in-law, Paul New; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 11:00am until a Funeral Service begins at 12:00noon Friday, July 11, 2025, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Escambia Amateur Astronomers Association.
