Jimmie L. Booker, 87, died Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Booker worked at Monsanto from 1953 until he retired in 1990 as a Chemical Engineer.

Mr. Booker was the son of Maxwell & Vannie Booker of Pensacola, FL. He was born October 18, 1932 in Pensacola, FL where he resided until moving to Milton, FL in 1994, where he resided until his death. He was a member of 8 ^th Avenue Baptist Church. He loved hunting, fishing, old westerns, crossword puzzles and reading.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Bobbie G. Booker; a sister, Noma Booker McComb; two brothers, Millard Booker and Nubbie Booker.

He leaves behind a daughter, Dorothy B. Eccles, of Milton, FL; a special furry baby grandson, known as Noah (Aka: BooBoo) along with a host of nieces and nephews who he was very proud of and loved very much; a wonderful friend, and family "son", Tommy Cawthon, and grandkids, Ravae and Chris Mayhair whom he loved very much.

Visitation will be held 1:30pm until the Funeral Service to begin at 2:30pm Monday, October 19, 2020, with Pastor Carl Gallups officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Allen Booker, Wayne Booker, Mark Booker, Chris Mayhair, Tommy Cawthon, Shelby Nall, and Jacob Nall.
