Joe Vestal Lacefield, 83, of Manchester, TN passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2015 in Tullahoma, TN. Joe was born on March 29, 1932 in Hope, Arkansas to Daniel V. and Florence (Whitehorne) Lacefield. Joe served his country as a Naval Officer and Pilot for 20 years, retiring as a LCDR. He is survived by his wife, Frances L. (Finley) Lacefield, also a retired Naval Officer. He is also survived by an extended family spread out over the United States. A Funeral cortege will depart from Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 1:30pm Friday, November 6, 2015. Graveside services with full Navy military honors will be held at 2pm Friday, November 6, 2015 at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL. Chaplain Ken Griffin, a retired Navy chaplain will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Hospice Compassus, 1805 N.
