Johanna Krammer Doenlen, 82, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 18, 1930. She was a graduate of Little Flower HS, Philadelphia, Class of 1948. Johanna married Harry Doenlen on June 21, 1953 and he preceded her in death in 1996. In Philadelphia, Johanna was a Real Estate accountant. After her husband died, she moved to Pensacola, where she joined her son Henry and his family. She enjoyed baking for friends, embroidery, and volunteering at Sacred Heart Hospital. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Ever the diligent worker, she kept the books at Technologies for Tomorrow up until the month before her death. Johanna is survived by her sons, Henry (Elizabeth) of Pensacola and Michael (Amy) of Boulder, CO; her grandchildren, Christopher (Emily) of Washington, DC, William (studying abroad in China), Hannah of Omaha, NE and Michael of Boulder, CO. A Rosary will be prayed at 10:00am, Monday, December 31, 2012 with a Funeral Mass immediately following at St. Paul Catholic Church, Pensacola, FL with Fr. Doug Halsema celebrant. Committal services will be on Friday, January 11, 2013 in Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Johanna's memory may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church, 1700 Conway Drive, Pensacola, Florida 32503.
