John Leonard Duntz, 86, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

John was born February 2, 1931 in Claverack, NY. He graduated from the Hudson High School, NY in 1949. Before entering the Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam, NY, he spent 4 years in the Air Force as a Flight Engineer during the Korean War. After graduating Clarkson in 1958, John as an engineer in California and Arizona before landing his career in Pensacola working at the Naval Air Station with the Standards Lab in NARF, John retired as head of the Standards Lab.

John enjoyed the rest of his life as a great mentor, father, husband and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeanne; his children, Eric, Shawn, Matt and David and all of his loving grandchildren, Rebecca, Joshua, Devin, Alex, Sarah, Elena and Mark.

A Celebration of Life in honor of John Duntz will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Tiger Point Country Club in Gulf Breeze, FL at 11:00am.
