John Drewry Foy, III, 80, of Gulf Breeze, FL, departed this earthly life on the morning of Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

John was born in Panama City, FL, on November 16, 1942, to Drew and Emmie Foy. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family. John had the purest soul, and loved fishing, Auburn Football, New York Times crossword puzzles, and had an incredible knowledge of random facts.

John is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mona S. Foy; his daughter, Brandy Foy Robinson (Ed) of Spring Hill, TN; his sons, Col. JD Foy, IV (Natacha) of Ft Belvoir, VA and Lt Col. Mitchell Kent Foy (Maj. September Foy) of Navarre, FL; his grandson, Evan Mitchell Robinson of Spring Hill, TN; as well as his brother, Edwin Foy of Pensacola, FL.

Visitation will be held 1:00pm until the Funeral Service begins at 1:30pm Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Mike Mashburn officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
