John Alan "J.A." Gensemer, 42, of Pensacola, FL passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018.

J.A. was born in Pensacola, FL and graduated from Washington High School. He attended Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and University of West Florida. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #15. J.A. will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank L. Gensemer.

Survivors include his mother, Sharon Gensemer and his brother, Ryan Gensemer (Liz).

Memorial Service will be held 10:00am Friday, December 28, 2018 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Brian Yount officiating. A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3400 Bayou Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32504 or to the Pensacola Humane Society, 5 N. Q St., Pensacola, FL 32505.
