John Stanton Kasic, age 54, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday evening, July 11, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. John was born in Abington, PA on January 22, 1961. He graduated from Woodham High School in 1979 and attended Pensacola Junior College. John honorably served our country as a soldier in the U.S. Army from 1985-1993. He was the owner of The Landscaping Company for many years, and his talent in this field could be seen in many commercial and private properties throughout the Pensacola area. John was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the Pensacola Bass Association and the Panhandle Bass Club, winning recognition and many awards in tournaments throughout the southeast. John dearly loved his family and they were always his first priority. John is survived by his loving wife, Belinda Sue Kasic; a daughter, Stephanie Sue Nobles, a granddaughter, Kayla Skye Conway; a brother, sister-in-law, and niece, Mike, Kathy, and Phoebe Kasic; two maternal aunts, Beverly Amery (George Bell) and Jeannie Bullibant (Bill) and one cousin, Hillary Amery-Forand. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL. Funeral services will be held at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be immediately following at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Active Pallbearers will be Dan Cerminaro, Chad Kramer, Noel Arnold, Chuck Mayo, West Calhoun and Richey Cornelius. The family would like to extend special thanks to dear friends, family members, physicians and Covenant Hospice for their support and care throughout John's illness.
