John Walter McLaughlin, 83, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021.

John was born on November 17, 1938, in Moody, AL, a resident of Leeds, AL and Jasper, AL. He spent most of his life working in the coal mining industry. He was loved by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pat McLaughlin; son, John Wayne McLaughlin (Jody); stepsons, Terry Washington (Dody) and Lynn Washington (Becky); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Private Family Service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local Animal Shelter in your area.
