John Walter Tyler, 63, of Pensacola, FL and formerly of Niceville, FL passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017.

John was born on January 5, 1954 in Oakland, CA to Dr. L. V. and Gloria (Hagler) Tyler. He was raised in Pensacola where he graduated with a Master's Degree from UWF. John moved to Niceville where he owned and operated his computer business, FKW Technologies. He was an active member of St. Jude's Episcopal Church, and very generous with his time through his church and community. John's greatest joy was being a father to the daughter he loved so much, "The light of his life".

John was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Lockland Tyler.

Survivors include his daughters, Bess Tyler and Hannah Stephens; mother, Gloria Tyler; brother, Vance Tyler (Debby); sisters, Barbara Henkel (Lee), Connie Trammell (Joe), Melissa McLellan (George) and many loved nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm Monday, August 21, 2017 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Fr. Arnold Bush (ret.) and Rev. Greg Hein, Rector of St. Jude's Episcopal Church in Niceville, FL assisting.
