Jonnie Booker Simonetti, 93, a resident of Pensacola passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013. Born on October 8, 1919 in Carrollton, MS, Mrs. Simonetti was a Homemaker and of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed living in many places throughout the US, traveling with her husband to new job assignments. She had a great love of animals and spoiled many pets over the years. One of her favorite things was feeding the birds and squirrels in her backyard. She also enjoyed crafts and gardening. Mrs. Simonetti was the last of six sisters, and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Jonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank James Simonetti; her parents, Mary Alma Gober Booker and John William Booker; sisters, Gladys Schouest, Melissa Ford, Clara Byron, Effie Floyd and Daisy Conn and a brother, Percy Booker. She is survived by her nephews, John and Norman Ford along with Danny Byron; nieces, Connee Byrd, Edna Faye Hanes, Rita Broussard, Peggy Sexton, Betty Holt, Carolyn Stockman and numerous other nieces and nephews. Jonnie is also survived by very dear friends, Carol and Ray Davis. Visitation will be from 8-9am Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with a Graveside service to be held at 9:30am at Bayview Memorial Park with Fr. Chris LaBlanc officiating. Interment follows immediately thereafter.
