Joseph Patrick Daly, born in Jackson, MS on August 31, 1961 entered into eternal peace on June 12, 2014. Preceded by his father, Bernard Christopher Daly, Jr. & father-in-law Albert Gagliardi, Jr. Survived by his loving, devoted wife and best friend for the past 34 yrs, Tammy Gagliardi Daly; daughters Racheal (Matt) Goodwin and Kathy Daly; grandchildren Arwyn, Dallas, Calvin, Kayla and Clinton; his parents, Ruth & Tom Green; his in-laws Kathy & Robert Roberts; his brothers & sisters Chris, Tommy, Pete, Teresa, Aggie, Fran & Monica; sisters in-law Darlene, Sandra, Pauline, Gina; his brothers-in-law and many beloved nieces and nephews. Joe loved his wife Tammy as much as any man could love a woman. They were totally devoted to each other and to raising their girls. When he could, Joe enjoyed playing golf, fishing, singing and listening to music and making an occasional trip to Biloxi. He had many good friends, several he had known since childhood. He was very proud of his daughters. Racheal is his look-alike and Kathy his tom boy. He taught them to be independent and love their children with all their hearts as he did them. They will always be "Daddy's Girls". He enjoyed his grandchildren and he also took a fatherly interest in his many nieces and nephews, especially his beautiful goddaughter. Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday, June 16, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin McQuone celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers are Pete Green, Mike Babajko, Tommy Green, Rick Costner, Ed Bauer & Tracy Wetherington. Tammy would like to thank her family, their many supportive friends and the and the medical professionals who cared for Joe and helped them thru this journey. Mom and Dad, Joe was truly blessed to have you as his parents. He knew how much you both loved him. Thanks for always being there for the both of us.
