Joseph Robert McCollough, 81, of Gulf Breeze, FL, passed away, Saturday, June 7, 2025, at home surrounded by family after a long battle with chronic esophagitis.

Joe was born on July 23, 1943, in Hermosa Beach, CA to Bob and June McCollough. He graduated from Claremore High School in 1961 and soon joined the US Air Force where he served for 4-years. After his service he returned to Tulsa, OK where he worked for McDonnell Douglas for 18 years, while raising a family and attending night school to earn a Business Degree. In 1983, Joe moved the family to Littleton, CO where he worked as President and CEO of Stanley Aviation for 10-years. In 1994, Joe and Sandra moved to Orange County, CA where he worked as President and CEO of Pilkington Aerospace until his retirement in 2003. Following his retirement, Joe and Sandra moved to Gulf Breeze, FL in 2004, where he enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, and happy hours with their friends and family.

Joe is survived by his wife Sandra of 59-years; his sister, Rose Marie Coulter of Oklahoma City, OK, and his three sons, John McCollough (Andrea) of Centennial, CO, Jeff McCollough of Milton, FL, and Pat McCollough (Stacy) of Inman, SC. Joe is also survived by eight grandchildren Kristopher, Brayden, Alec, Bryce, Connor, Blake, Brandon, and Brittany McCollough, as well as two great grandchildren Daniel and Oliver.
