Joy Dewine 1936-2015 Joy Dewine of Pensacola Beach went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2015. Joy was born April 27, 1936 to Larry and Helen Wheatley in Cleveland, OH, where she grew up with her beloved cousins, Eddie and Patsy Smith. Joy is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jim; three children, Kathy (Mike) Zima of Atlanta, GA, Karen (John) Feledy of Cincinnati, OH, and John (Julie) of Houston, TX; and four grandchildren, Darby, Jack, Claire and Joey. She also leaves behind the many wonderful individuals in Ohio and Florida she felt privileged to call her friends. Joy earned her BSN in 1958 at St. John's College, School of Nursing, Cleveland, OH. She was a Registered Nurse for 30 years. Her career was highlighted by work at the Cardiac Care Unit at the Cleveland Clinic and as Vice President for Nursing at St. Alexis Hospital in Cleveland, OH. Joy and her husband moved to Pensacola in 1999. For 12 years she worked as a volunteer with the Mother Seton Guild, Sacred Heart Hospital. She also served for 13 years on the Board of Directors at the condominium association where she lived. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church on Pensacola Beach.
