Joy Alana Guidone, 52, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Friday, May 8, 2009 at University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Pensacola, FL and worked in several capacities at Ethan Allen and As You Like It Interiors . She was a devoted Mother to her son, Chris and Wife to her husband, Paul. Joy had a love for life, a passion for animals and was always upbeat. No person was a stranger to her as she embraced each person openly and with concern. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Joy is survived by her husband, Paul Guidone; a son Christopher Guidone; her mother, Olga Fagerstrom and a brother, Richard Fagerstrom. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2009 from 6-8pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with a Rosary being prayed at 6pm at the chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 1:30pm at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Doug Halsema celebrant.
