Joyce Marion Grimes, 75, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2010 in Pensacola, FL. She was born Joyce Marion Scaber in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on May 19, 1935. After completing her education in x-ray technology she moved to Hawaii where she met and married naval aviator William Patrick Grimes. They were lucky enough to live in a number of places around the world and settled back on Pensacola Beach in spring 1970 where they raised their family and enjoyed life. Joyce was a gifted artist and devoted mother who leaves behind children, Steve (Norma), Mike, Michelle (Richard), Paul (Tammy) and Eric (Diana), along with brothers, Jim (Evelyn) and Vic as well as seven grandchildren, loving in-laws, cousins, and uncountable friends. Words to the wise, Joyce felt no sadness for sins committed, only for those things she had not yet done. She was predeceased by her parents, Steve and Olga, her husband, Bill and her brother, Edward. A Memorial Mass will be held 2:00pm Saturday October 16, 2010 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze, FL with Monsignor Luke Hunt celebrant.
