Julia Fulghum Stringfield of Pensacola, FL, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2012. Julia was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John Robert Stringfield, as well as her parents, brothers, sisters and son-in-law. She is survived by her children, John R. Bob (Judy) Stringfield, Jr. and Lucy Stringfield Gall, three grandchildren, Angela Stringfield Jeanguenat (Jeff), James and Anne Louise Gall and two great grandchildren, Joseph and Joshua Jeanguenat. Julia had a long & active relationship with the First United Methodist Church of Pensacola, beginning with the construction of the church by her father and grandfather and ending with a 50+ year active membership. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, April 12, 2012 at First United Methodist Church with visitation immediately following. A private family graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery at 2 PM. The family would like to extend grateful thanks to the staff of Azalea Trace for the care they have given over the past 15 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Azalea Trace Retirement Foundation or your favorite charity. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
