Please join us in celebrating the life of Julie Grace, a devoted wife to Dan, her husband of 46 years; a loving mother to her daughters, Jennifer & Melissa; a doting grandmother to her grandchildren, Hannah & Jake; a devoted sister to her brothers, Michael, Stephen, & Peter; and a spectacular friend to many. An incredible nurse, she graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University in Chicago with a B.S.N. and went on to join the faculty as a Neuro-Psychiatric and Medical-Surgical Nursing Instructor. In the course of her career, she ran a health department, taught nursing school, and directed cancer research studies for the University of Missouri in Kansas City. For the past 18 years she was an involved member of Christ Church, serving as an ECW volunteer, chalice bearer, and frequent organizer & chef of the Antique Show Preview Party. She bravely battled ovarian cancer for 13 years, refusing to let her illness keep her from a full and loving life. In honor of a life exceptionally well lived, please cherish the wonderful memories and times spent with Julie and send a prayer to bless her on her journey. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Church, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10:30am with a reception to follow.
