Julius Jul Netzer, 82, of Gulf Breeze passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012. Mr. Netzer was born in Vincentown, NJ on January 3, 1930 to Johanna (Keller) and Albert Netzer. He graduated from Pemberton High School in Vincentown, NJ in the class of 1948. Enjoying his high school memories it was a pleasure for him to attend his high school reunions to reminisce with friends. In 1950 he joined the US Navy and served his country for four years, after which he worked with the Civil Service as a Aircraft Mechanic at Pensacola NAS retiring with 30 years plus. Mr. Netzer was an active member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Mr. Netzer was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; three brothers and his first wife Hilda B. Netzer. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mildred E Netzer; 3 step-daughters, Sherrie Rostkowski (Richard), Suzanne Kwiatkowski (Joe) and Rita Pitzer; 3 step-sons, Gary Elowsky (Kathy), Greg Elowsky (Laura) and Eric Elowsky (Debbie); 10 grandchildren and many other relatives. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be 10:30am Thursday, April 26, 2012 at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 6031 Goodrich Dr., Pensacola, FL 32504.
