Karen M. Walker, 72, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
She was a beloved wife, mother, mawmaw, great mawmaw, and a Christian. She loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. Karen was born on June 9, 1949, to David and Twynette Meredith in Pensacola, FL. After graduating from Woodham High School in 1967, she went on to become a wife and homemaker to William W. Walker while teaching Sunday school and holding Bible studies. She was a part of the Dancing Grannies and the Senior Follies.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Vickie Bowman; as well as her brother, David E. Meredith.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William W. Walker; her son, Clinton Walker (Peggy); her daughter, Candace Reaves (Marshall); six grandkids and six great-grandkids.
Visitation will be held 10:30am until the Funeral Service to begin at 11:30am Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Chris Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. We request all of Karen's loved ones to join us in the celebration of her beautiful life.
