Karen Webley Woods Roque, of Gulf Breeze, FL a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023.

Karen was born July 24, 1947, in Portland, OR to the late Rance (Bud) Webley and the late Virginia Webley. As a young women Karen became proficient at classic piano and was very involved with her family at their church. She attended Ulysses S. Grant High School and went on to study Russian at Willamette University and was an Alpha Phi sorority sister. In 1972 she married Bennett Woods and had two sons. She returned to school and obtained her license as a Dental Hygienist and went on to attend graduate school at University of West Florida where she met Robert Roque. She had a successful career as the Dental Health Coordinator and Tobacco Prevention Manager over four counties in northwest Florida. Throughout her life, she was an active member of her church and participated in many church-sponsored events, groups and bible studies. She had many, many friends (Oregon, Gulf Breeze, Fort Walton, Jacksonville) and was such a good listener and often made many smiles with her beautiful vivacious laugh. She also was a talented baker who owned a baking business. Many great times and many great baked treats.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Roque, together for 36 years; sons, Benjamin Woods (Tala) and Andrew Woods (Donna) and grandchildren, Webley and Aaron and brother, Craig of Tillamook, OR.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 10:30am until the Memorial Mass begins at 11:00am with a Rosary to be prayed at 10:00am on Friday, March 31, 2023, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 100 Daniel Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL 32562. A reception will follow at the Parish Hall at 12:00pm.
