Karyn Newsome, 61, of Pensacola, FL passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011. She was born in Newark, NJ to William and Gerry Graham (Nee Wargo). Karyn was a Registered Nurse who spent many years caring for critically ill infants. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church Parish. Her husband, Drewel Gib Newsome; her granddaughter, Alexa Trehern and parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her brother, Gary Graham, of Cantonment, FL; sister, Gale Barber, of Pensacola, FL; her six children, Christina Nall of Tallahassee, FL, Stephanie Nall of Thomasville, GA, Jillian Heath of Milton, FL, Kacey Newsome of Pensacola, FL, Lyndsey Newsome of Boyton Beach, FL and Jody Newsome of Pensacola, FL; also eight grandchildren, Jordan Nall, Sydney Nall, Morgan Nall, Jasmin Rhea, Jordan Rhea, Alea Trehern, Attoria Knott and Aniya Knott. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Little Flower Catholic Church with Fr. Eugene Casserly celebrant. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
