Weekends were spent boating, going to the beach, traveling in the motorhome and traveling with her sister Becky. She was a realtor with Old South Properties for a number of years. They were active members of Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in her death by her husband, Usher "Bill" Davis; brother, Folsom Maxwell and her sister, Becky Brotherton.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Davis (Ellen) and Kathy Johnson (Steve); granddaughters, Kristi Bollen (Steven) and Kelly Sanders (Shea); a great granddaughter, Aubrie Bollen; brother, Quinton Maxwell along with many nieces and nephews.
