Kenneth John Hoag , 80, of Pensacola, FL passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.
Kenneth was born in Cleveland, OH on May 30, 1938 to John C. Hoag and Florence B. Kozlowski. Ken was a U.S. Military Veteran. He served our country in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army for 24 years. He served the citizens of Florida as a Forensic Analyst for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for 18 years. Ken was a loving and devoted husband for 57 years. He was a father for 54 years, a grandfather for 32 years, and a great grandfather for five years. Ken never met a stranger. He lived a full life. He had a very giving soul. He was loved by many. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his son Kenneth John Hoag, II.
He is survived by his wife, Lilia Piedad Hoag; daughters, Sandra Hoag Boyette (William) of Bay Minette, AL, Damaris Lisset Hoag, Pensacola, FL, Itzel Hoag, Potrerillos, Panama; granddaughters, Marilyn Boyette Lindquist (Kyle) of Palm Harbor, FL, Kimberly Ann Hoag of Pensacola, FL, Kelsey Jade Hoag of Pensacola, FL, Kristy Gisell Hoag of Potrerillos, Panama; great grandsons, Cooper Charles Lindquist and Finn Clifton Lindquist of Palm Harbor, FL.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Jack Campbell, celebrant. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be sent to Covenant Hospice of Pensacola, 5041 N 12th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32504.
