Kermit Guy Bowles, Jr. 66, of Foley, AL passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

Mr. Bowles was born on January 4, 1956 in Huntington, WV to Joyce Jean (Ward) and Kermit Guy Bowles, Sr. He served his country in the United States Navy retiring at the Rank of Master Chief in July 1996. An avid fan of the University of Alabama, Kermit was a devoted father and grandfather.

Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kristen R. Bowles; brother, and Roy Alan Bowles.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Swann (Joshua) of Norfolk, VA; sisters, Doncelia Close (Greg) of Clearwater, FL, Robbie Bowles Shipley of Huntington, WV; brother, Michael Bowles of Huntington, WV; seven granddaughters; five nieces; and two nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at West Florida Hospital and Covenant Hospice.
