January 16, 1964 – April 30, 2021
George "Kevin" Belich, 57, left this world to his Heavenly home unexpectedly Friday, April 30, 2021.
Kevin loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, and coach baseball. He coached many years at Bill Bond with his dad, Linwood Belich, at his side and The Pensacola Angels travel team from 2000-2008.
He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He spent most of his life as a caretaker for grandparents, Arthur and Maude Bailey and continued living with his aunt, Mildred and taking care of her until 2012 when she went to live with her sister. He also drove the church bus at 16 years old for 8 th Avenue Baptist Church to make sure the elderly had transportation to church.
He is preceded in death by his father, Linwood Belich; grandparents, Arthur and Maude Bailey and Opal Belich; special aunts, Mildred Mitchell and Edna Wehmeier (Buddy); uncles, Willard Bailey (Ruth) and Bill Bailey (Betty).
Kevin is survived by his mother, Cleta Drucilla Belich; brother, Keith Belich (Heather); sister, Kay Marcilliat (Brad); aunts and uncles, Doris Inge, Glenda Crooke (George), Gloria Hual (Bill) and JC Inman. He will be loved and missed by many.
Visitation will be held 10:00am until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00am Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Brian Nott officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be his nephews, Glenn and Kristopher Desposito, Kameron and Briar Belich; cousin, Donnie House and friend, Skyler Rowland.
Honorary pallbearers will be former baseball players.
