Kevin Brendan Johnson, longtime resident of Lisle, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the age of 70, in Pensacola, FL.

Kevin was born in Ireland on March 26, 1951 and adopted to Peter and Rita Johnson, of Brookfield, IL. He retired from Tellabs, Inc in 1999 and later worked at the Village of Lisle Public Works Department. Kevin was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, cribbage, and Coca-Cola.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Rita (Kundinger) Johnson; a sister, Karen Johnson; as well as his beloved dogs Augie and Cody.

He is survived by his daughter, Veronica Johnson of Windermere, FL; two sisters, Patricia (John) Reeder, of Lisle and Mary Ann (the late Carl) Tunk, of Amboy, IL; two brothers, George (Patricia) Johnson of Plano, IL and Larry Johnson, of Florida.  Kevin is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

A visitation will be held at 10:00am followed by a Memorial mass at 11:00am Monday, August 30, 2021 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Lisle, IL. Interment will follow at Lisle Cemetery.
