Kevin Ray Wilks, age 60, of Pensacola, Florida, went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2020. He was surrounded by his loving wife and children at the time of his death.

Kevin was born in Traverse City, Michigan, to Douglas Dean Wilks and Lillian May Wilks, later moving to Charlevoix, Michigan, where he grew up.

On July 2, 1983, Kevin married the love of his life, Kathy. Over the past thirty-seven years, the two of them built a beautiful life and loving family together. Kevin was a kind and true family man. He was passionate about his family, friends, good food and backyard get-togethers. Kevin had a big gentle heart and loved deeply. He loved Kathy, was incredibly proud of his four children and adored his grandchildren. Any chance to spend with family and friends was important to him. Anyone who met Kevin knows what a special man he was. He will be missed by all.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Kathy; his four children, Melissa (Nathan), Kimberly (James), Ray (Suzanne), and Kaitlyn (Lane). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Olivia, Gavin, Colton, Maverick, Holden, Audrey Kate, Ziva, Kevin and two upcoming 2021 grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Ken (Ruth) Wilks and Duane (Marcia) Wilks.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Wilks, his Father, Douglas Wilks and his brother, David Wilks.

Visitation will be held 10:00am until a Memorial Service to begin at 11:00am Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, Pensacola, FL, with Dr. Glenn Jago officiating.

The family asks that anyone who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or who has had a recent exposure to COVID-19 remain home. The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend in person.
