On Sunday, February 25, 2024, Larkin Hubbard, beloved wife, mother, and Gigi, passed away at the age of 77 at home surrounded by her loved ones and dogs.

Larkin was born on July 14, 1946, in Macon, GA to Emory and Helen (Burnette) Bobo. She received her master's degree in Theatrical Arts from Miami University in 1971. She married her husband, William "Jim" Hubbard on November 3, 1979, and together they raised two kids, Megan and Beau.

Larkin had a talent for theater and decorative arts. She enjoyed floral design and raising her two children in Roswell, GA. Together with her husband, they ran a video store for many years.  They resided in Pensacola, FL in 2010 when their daughter became pregnant with their first grandchild, where she spent her remaining years helping and being a huge part of her two grandsons' lives. Being a Gigi was her greatest passion.

Larkin is preceded in death by her father, Emory Bobo; mother, Helen Burnette Bobo; brother, John Calvin Bobo; and granddaughter, Teagan Elizabeth Maltbie.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jim; son, Beau Hubbard; daughter, Megan Maltbie (Craig); two grandsons, Finnegan and Emory Maltbie; her beloved sisters-in-law, Beverly Hubbard (Brian) and Bridgette Melvin (Danny); her brother, Christopher Bobo; nephews, Owen Hubbard, Daniel Melvin, and Ian Bobo; nieces, Melissa Melvin and Erin Bobo; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will be held on March 16, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
