Larry Shane Flores, 63, of Milton, FL passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018.

Larry was born in Pensacola, FL on August 22, 1955 to Michael J. Flores, Jr. & Annie McGraw Flores. He attended St. Paul Catholic School and Pensacola Catholic High School. Larry will always be remembered by his family as a loving son, brother, and uncle. Larry's niece, Rebecca Flores wrote these words to best describe him: "He lived a quiet life of solitude. His name will not be carried through the generations and in the small talk of people. The ones that saw him were few, but counted amongst the lucky. He bestowed wisdom and a knowledge that was unfitting for the life he led but was mystical and something to be present to. His chosen words held meaning and insight and if you saw him smile, life had purpose. He was humble in all of his actions, he was caring towards all of his family and his reward was little. An uncorrupted soul that faced his own path and his own tragedies however, his kindness was grand, his gifts were all he could give and his love was genuine. He was a man to be respected not because of his successes and his riches but because he was self made. As a simple man, his impact was large. His presence will be missed however subtle it was."

He is preceded in death by his father, Michael J. Flores, Jr.

Survivors include his mother, Annie M. Flores; sister, Lisa Caballero; brother, Michael J. Flores, III (Mae); sister, Renee Welch; brother, Kerry Flores; sister, Melissa Lambert (Jon); sister, Tracy Connors (Brian); nephews, J.P. Caballero, Shane Flores, and Jon Lambert, Jr.; nieces, Alicia Flores, Rebecca Flores, Carlie Skyrme, Jessy Flores, April Enciso, Samantha Anderson, Gabby Flores, Abigaille Flores, and Quina Lambert; as well as many other extended family.

Visitation will be held 10:30am until the Funeral Service at 11:00am Friday, October 12, 2018 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Fr. Hank Lech officiating. Private family interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Michael Flores III, Kerry Flores, Jon Lambert, Brian Connors, J.P. Caballero, and Shane Flores.
