Obituary

Larry Bennett Riley, 76, of Pensacola, Fl went to his heavenly home peacefully after a long courageous battle with a lung disease with his loving wife Gloria, of 52 years, by his side. Larry was born in Burlington, NC. He served in the Navy for four years. Larry was an active member of St. Annes Catholic Church, Bellview, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Lecturer. He was a longtime member and officer of the Elks Lodge and was a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Council #778. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Addie Boyle and a sister, Ruby Miller. He is survived by his wife, Gloria of Pensacola; daughters, Pam (Mark), Paula (Shiloh) and Jeanine (Dave) all of Pensacola; son, Ron (Michelle) of Pensacola; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11:00am Wednesday, November 9, 2011 with a Funeral Mass beginning at 12:00pm noon at St. Annes Catholic Church, Bellview with Fr. John Licari celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. The family wishes to express special Thanks to Dr. David Phillips and the nursing staff at Sacred Heart Hospital. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
