On Friday, June 17, 2016 our beloved daughter, friend and love Leigh Barbara Carter passed away.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Connell.

Leigh is survived by her mother and father, Gay and Bo Carter; brother, Trip; grandfather, Cotton Connell and her true love and best friend James Redding.

Leigh was a talented Artist and Writer who could see the good and humor in every situation. She was much loved by those lucky enough to know her. She was a person that enjoyed giving a gift more than receiving. Her strength was admired by all who witnessed her dealing with medical issues from birth. We pray and know she is now free of pain and is joyfully reunited with her beloved grandmother Nana.

A Private Family Service will be held for her friends and relatives at First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Pensacola Humane Society, 5 N. Q Street, Pensacola, FL 32505.
