Lelia Bella Roché Hattaway, 87, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Mrs. Hattaway was born in Pensacola, FL and was educated at Pensacola High School and Pensacola Junior College. She was employed at the Waterfront Rescue Mission, and she enjoyed watching Pensacola baseball, the Flyers and Wahoos.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Eunice Roché; as well as her sisters, Janice Roché Franklin and Geraldine Roché Waldrop.

She is survived her husband of 66 years, Clyde Jerry Hattaway; son, Joseph; daughter, Theresa; three grandchildren, David, Laura, and Alexis; as well as four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Chad, Michael, and Rachel.

A private family service will be held 10:30am, Wednesday, September 14, 2021, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rob Looper officiating. For those that would like, there will be a live stream of her service available on the funeral home website. Private interment will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McIlwain Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1220 E. Blount St., Pensacola, FL 32503.
