Leon "Ray" Henderson, 81, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013. Ray was born on February 24, 1932 in Pensacola, FL. He graduated from Florida State University and proudly served in the US Navy. Ray worked and retired from American Cyanamid / Cytec as a Piping Engineer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herb and Goldie Cavignac; sister, JoAnn Bubert; and children, Lil Ray, Risa and Peggy. Survivors include his loving wife, Beverly Henderson; son, Anthony "Andy" Henderson; daughters, Shannon Henderson and DJ Martin (Jimmy); step-son, Mick Poole; 4 grandchildren, Kerry, Tiffany, Nikki and Michael; 4 great grandchildren, Bryce, Braden, Chase and Lexi; as well as his sister, Burma Davis. Visitation will be held 11:00am until the Funeral Service to begin at 11:30am Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Burgess Road Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Cooley officiating.
