Leon A. LaVoie, 80, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025.

Leon was born on January 18, 1945, in Lawrence, MA, son of George and Lucienne LaVoie. He lived in Lawrence and later in Haverhill, MA for most of his life. He moved to Pensacola in 2014. Leon was a Disabled Veteran who served in Japan during the Vietnam War. In late retirement, he enjoyed playing cards and watching TV, his favorite movie was "Parent Trap".

He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Michele Fournia; sisters, Georgette, Lucille, Lorraine, and Theresa.

Leon is survived by his daughter, Kimberly LaVoie of Pensacola; great granddaughter Jayla of Pensacola; two brothers, Alfred on Lawrence, MA and Leo of Fitchburg, MA. He also leaves behind his ex-wife Dorothy of Haverhill, MA and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Leon will be laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery with military honors.
