On Friday evening, February 10, 2023, Dr. Leonila Llanera, 78, lost her battle with dementia. She passed on to Heaven after being surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of her own home. Leony loved being in her home and having a houseful of those she loved around her. She died exactly two and one-half years after the death of her beloved long time spouse Cesar. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Perla and Geronimo; her older sister, Luding, as well as several of her close cousins.

Leony leaves behind a legacy of memories in her children, Jojo and Lissa, their spouses Stephanie and Rick, whom Leony treated as her kids too; her wonderful grandchildren, Isabella, Alexander, and Mason; her brothers, Junior (Day), Toni (Celine), Gary (Bennie), Leo (Cris), Danni (Pia), and Gildo; her sisters, Tessie and Gigi (Bill); as well as so many nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.

Visitation will be held 5:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, February 20, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00am Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Craig Smith as celebrant. Interment and reception will follow at Bayview Memorial Park, Pensacola, FL.
