Leslie C. (Les) Miller, 77, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013. Les was born and educated in Booneville, MS. He was a devoted member of Pace Church of Christ. He owned Service Stations in the 60's and 70's, managed grocery and gas retail stores in the 80's and partnered in maintenance and cleaning services in the Ocean Springs and Tupelo, MS areas. He had a tremendous love for car racing that has passed down four generations. Les owned car #99 in mid 60's that raced at Biloxi Motor Speedway. Survivors include his children, Larry Miller, Mike Miller (June), Kay McElroy (Jim) and Annette Valletto (Carl); as well as 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 10:00am until the Funeral Service to begin 11:00am Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Graveside Committal Service will be held 2:30pm Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Ocean Springs, MS. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at Life Care Center, Select Specialty Hospital and West Florida Hospital in Pensacola for "above and beyond" care for our Dad.
