Lil H. Burns, 84, of Pensacola. FL passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burns; parents, Lillie Belle (Swearingen) and Marvin Andrew Hall; brother, James; sister; Alice, and leaves behind 2 children; Eric and Beverly and several nieces and nephews.

Lil was a 1956 graduate of Pensacola High School, an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, needlepoint and counted cross stitch.

She was a volunteer at Baptist Hospital for a period of time and was heavily involved in First Baptist Church for over 50 years including singing in the choir. Lil enjoyed their church trips to Japan, Russia and Austria among other destinations.

Graveside Service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, AL at 10:30am, Thursday, August 19, 2021. Visitation will be held 3:00pm until the Memorial Services begins at 4:00pm Thursday, August 19, 2021 at First Baptist Church Pensacola, Pleitz Chapel, 500 N. Palafox St., Pensacola, FL 32501.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Linda Lasher, Beth Gowing, Flo Minchew, Holly Stewart, Melissa Martin, Kireyanna Whiting, the staff at Baptist Hospital and Covenant Hospice.
