Lillian Brocket Wilson, 93, of Pensacola passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. She was a native of Pensacola and was born on January 2, 1920. Lillian was a Life Member of Christ Episcopal Church, which was a real important part of her life. She had a strong interest in genealogy and finding details and history of her family. She had spent a week in Salt Lake City searching the Mormon Genealogy Library, also visiting cemeteries in the Wilmington, NC area. Lillian was also very patriotic and was a member of the following societies; Colonial Dames of America, Colonial Dames 17th Century, Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the Confederacy, Magna Charta Dames, Daughters of American Colonials, National Society of US Daughters 1812 and the Americans of Royal Decent. She spent most of her leisure time with her family enjoying time on the water with friends and time spent at her summer cottage on Perdido Bay along with traveling and watching football. Lillian is survived by her husband of 70 years, William E. Wilson of Pensacola; daughter, Fayolyn Phillips of Pensacola; a first cousin, Frances Monroe (John W. Monroe, Jr.) who was like a sister to her of Pensacola and a niece, Gale Brocket White of Beau Bridge, LA. Memorial services for the family and special friends will be held at 3:30pm Monday, September 23, 2013 at Christ Church. Inurnment will follow in Christ Church Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Robert E. Wilson Seminarian Fund, %Christ Church, P.O. Box 12683, Pensacola, FL 32591.
