Lois Dotson, 89, of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday, December 28, 2020.

Lois was born on October 28, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was Past Matron from 1965. Lois loved to square dance and took every opportunity with her husband, Phil to enjoy it, until they were physically no longer able to do so. She also enjoyed singing and even joined with Phil, who was a Southern Gospel singer and was under contract at a music park in the North Georgia Mountains. Lois was loved by everyone she met and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jim Alexander and stepmother, Emily Alexander.

Survivors include her husband, Phil Dotson; two sons, Richard Krahl (Lori) and Billy Krahl (Kim) both of Denver, CO; daughter, Jan Salyers of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Ruth Curry of Pittsburgh, PA; as well as 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 12:00noon until a Funeral Service to begin at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, 6031 Goodrich Dr., Pensacola, FL 32504 with Rev. Tim Clarke officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, 6031 Goodrich Dr., Pensacola, FL 32504.
