Lora Wilson Rodgers also known as Peach, loving wife and mother departed this earth on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Peach was very successful in business, opening and operating several health spas in multiple states.

She is survived by those she loved and was very proud and supportive of her husband, CMDR Larry Rodgers, USGC (ret); as well as her two daughters, Laurie Rodgers (Pat Parmley) and Leslie Lancaster (Robert); her five grandchildren, Logan Rodgers, Reverend Lauren Scott, Abby Scott, RN, Ford Reeves, and Julie Reeves, and great-grandson, Sidney Rodgers-Taylor. Outside of her family, she embraced many friends and strangers with compassion and was often referred to as a cheerleader and advocate. Her love of God was apparent throughout her life's beliefs and actions.

There will be a viewing and visitation at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 1-2 pm. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 20, 2023, at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11 am with Rev. Hugh Hamilton and Rev. Lauren Scott officiating. The funeral cortege will depart Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 10:30 am for Barrancas National Cemetery.
