Lorna Alojado "Mama" Pacheco, 84 of Pensacola, FL died Thursday, December 22, 2022.

Lorna was born on March 27, 1938 in Amlan, Negros Oriental Philippines. She graduated from Silliman University High School in 1955 and received her BSN from Southwestern University in 1960. Upon immigrating to the U.S., she worked many years as a registered nurse, first in New York and then in Florida, and finally in Pensacola working with her late husband Dr. M.S. Pacheco at their medical clinic.

She will be remembered as a tough no-nonsense lady who also had a soft caring side, especially for children.

Lorna is preceded in death by her parents, Salvador Alojado, Sr and Felicidad Alojado and daughter in law, Evelyn Pacheco.

She is survived by sons, Reuben Pacheco (Honey Rose), Dr. Noel Pacheco, Mariano Pacheco Jr. (Amanda) and Paul Pacheco (Jennifer); sisters, Cecelia, Doris and Jocelyn; granddaughters, Madison Castillo (Joe), Payton Cooley (Tristen), Jena and Aislyn; grandsons, Mariano III, Jericho, Makaio and Ascher and great-granddaughter, Emmersyn Lynn.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
